The College Central Library is housed in a 3587 sq.ft. area and is fully automated with Autolib Software System. The entire Library Collection has been bar-coded. The Library has an open access system with electronic resources of INFLIBNET N-List and Open Educational Resources (OER). A separate section is available for online resources with 10 computers with wi-fi internet facility to access the electronic resources for all Faculty members, Research Scholars, Student-teachers, Alumni and other Stakeholders.

Library has wide collection of Books, ready reference collections like, Encyclopedias, Yearbooks, Handbooks, Almanacs, Dictionaries, and Thesaurus etc., Apart from books latest National and International periodicals, CD’s and DVD’s, Theses and Dissertations, Syllabi, Question Banks, Back volumes of Periodicals are updated every year.  NKT College Central Library has a separate collection for students who prepare for Competitive Examinations like Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET), Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Teachers’ Recruitment Board Examination (TRB), National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (CSIR/UGC NET), State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET), Civil Service Examinations, Bank and Railway Competitive Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), etc. are available in the library. The Library also has a separate and exclusive collection of Text & Reference Books, Audio Books and Journals for Special Education. The Central Library has also been updated with remote access to e-book facilities.
