05 - NKT Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Club
The initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' was announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi on 31st October 2015 commemorating the 140th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabai Patel.
Through this innovative measure, the knowledge of culture, traditions and practices of different States and Union Territories lead to better understanding and bonding between the States, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India. As per the instruction from the University Grants Commission, all the Higher Educational Institutions need to set up the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Club’ (EBSB) to promote the uniqueness of India as a nation which is woven by diverse linguistic, cultural and religious threads held together into a composite National identity by a rich history of cultural evolutions, thereby promoting the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. Our College conducts various programmes depicting the rich culture of India and highlighting Unity in Diversity.
